"Long Face" By Emily Robateau
This is another photo I chose as my best because the horse stepped right in front of my cousin at the perfect moment and I had to take a photo. Many times before, the horse did not want to stay still and would just walk away. But with tempting him with hay, he stayed around for awhile. I made sure my shutter speed was at a higher pace because of how sunny and how he could move at any moment, and I did not want any blurring.

"Cat Race" By Emily Robateau
I picked this image as the best one because I managed to capture my cat's face perfectly clear as he was running past. I had some issues with him wanting to cooperate and chase his toy, but after many shots it finally worked. It was hard to follow him because as he runs he gallops like a horse. I made sure my shutter speed was at 1/40 and was at the right exposure so the picture wasn't too bright. I like the way this image turned out in the end because of how fast he appears to be running.

"Girl with the pearl Earring's eye" By Emily Robateau
I chose this picture as my best because it took the most amounts of tries to get it perfect. This painting was done by my sister and I love how paint looks on canvas up close, so I needed to take a picture of it. It took me a couple of tries to take this photo just right. Some things I had difficulties with were what shutter speed to use, and how bright I should aim for the picture to turn out. I love how the slightly dark, natural lighting makes the image look dreary and sad, but the eye looks so textured and realistic. From far away the painting looks smooth, but up close I can capture the divots in the canvas.

"Icicle" By Emily Robateau
This photograph shows the melting of snow when the weather turns to spring. This specific day it was very warm out and all of the ice and snow around the school was melting quite quickly. I had to take a few different shots because it was so sunny and bright out, the pictures looked slightly over exposed. I also had to take many pictures because I had to get a drip of water falling off of the ice just right for the picture to look how I wanted it to.

"B-52 shot" By Emily Robateau
I used a shot glass and filled it with many different objects/substances through out this photo shoot. How ever, the last photo I decided to use the glass for something its actually intended for, a shot of alcohol. This image has a nice warm look to it kind of like the colour of the different layers of alcohol in the glass. I made sure to have something in the background to give more depth but also to make the shot stand out in the position of the rule of thirds.
